Star Wars: The Old Republic is the classical style of mmorpg based on the Star Wars universe. It is heavy on the storyline since the fictional universe the game takes place in has almost no limits and a lot of stories to tell. SWTOR is a good choice if you like the mmorpg genre combined with half a century of our lifetime story with a very deep and complicated elements that effect the balance of the entire universe.
PLOT:
Story takes place almost 3500 years before the events of the Star Wars movies. There had been the Great Galactic War that lasted 28 long years. Sith becomes a success in the force by disturbing it in all throughout the Great Galactic War. And so the jedi held responsible for this due to their weakend state and poor decisions all through the war.
When the war ends, there happens to be the Treaty of Coruscant in the end which leads Jedi order to move to Tython and Sith to Korriban and reconstruct what has been lost during the war. Though the desire for Sith to reach the ultimate power and overthrow the republic is too great. So the take over begins and once the balance between light and darkness collides. Does the future holds the balance between two great forces? There is only one way to find out and it lies within you!
